Tecno has unveiled the Spark 9 Pro Sport Edition designed by BMW's Designworks
Tecno launched its Techno Spark 9 Pro earlier this year with a selection of several colorways. Five months later, Chinese company Tecno, in partnership's with BMW Group's design innovation studio Designworks, has unveiled a special edition model of the phone, now called the Spark 9 Pro Sport Edition. This new smartphone has key features like Media Tek Helio G85 chipset, 50MP camera and 5000mAh battery.

Design & Display
Starting off design wise, The device has a BMW-themed design inspired by ‘ice-crystal talisman’. Designworks was tasked with choosing the materials, colors and finishes for this special edition. The design was apparently inspired by the "Ice Crystal Talisman" and features crystal blue spheres mixed with snowy white, with additional triangles to keep the theme consistent. The two circular camera islands evoke the BMW logo, but this is more of an homage than a 1:1 copy.
The special edition of the phone is aimed at young buyers. "Working with a company like Tecno is inspiring, because it gives us the opportunity to focus on another user experience - the smartphone. Despite the difference in scale, smartphones and cars have something in common in that they are highly personal and relatable. Users trust them. Looking at the exterior, the Spark 9 Pro sports a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels and supports a 90Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, It has water dew drop style cutout design at the top centre that housing a selfie camera. Moreover, The device available in a four colour options - Quantum Black, Burano Blue, Holy White, Hacker Storm and Sport Edition.
Camera
As for cameras, The Techno Spark 9 Pro features a triple camera setup at the back led by a 50MP Primary camera with an aperture of f/1.6. It is followed by an 2MP depth lens with an aperture of f/2.4 and another last one also 2MPsensor with an aperture of f/2.0. Similarly, the front of the phone has a selfie camera with a 32 MP camera for beautiful selfies and video calling.
Talking about the videography aspect, You can record up to 1080p videos up to 30fps from the both rear and front camera.
Performance & Storage
The Techno Spark 9 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. It is an octa-core processor based on 12nm processing technology that is equipped with an octa-core CPU with a maximum clock speed of up to 2.0GHz. For handling graphics, it has a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU.
As far as memory arrangement, The device is available in 4/6GB of LPDDR4X RAM along with 128GB of internal storage memory configuration. The phone also has a microSD card slot, from which more storage can be added. Moreover, the phone boots on Android 12 based HIOS 8.6.

But the official price of Techno Spark 9 Pro Sport Edition is yet to be announced.
