Honor 70 with Snapdragon 778G+, 66W fast charging Launched

Honor has officially unveiled the Honor 70 series of smartphones in China, with three of which are on sale in the market. In this post, we will learn more about Honor 70 including its specification, features, availability and its expected price in Nepal.

Honor 70 Overview:

Display & Design

Honor 70 features a 6.67-inch OLED panel along with an Full HD+ resolution of 1600 x 2408 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Like the Pro variants of the series, it has a 10-bit display with 120Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. Moreover, The phone has a Infinity-V style notch at the front for the selfie camera.

The Honor 70 has a curved edge design similar to its Pro-siblings. However, it is the thinnest and lightest device in the lineup with a thickness of 7.91mm and a weight of 178 grams. The handset comes in four colorways: blue, black, green and gradient shades with a diamond crystal-like pattern on the back.

Camera

As for the optics, The back of the smartphone has a triple camera setup that is housed inside two circular rings and is led by a 54MP Sony IMX800 primary shooter. It comes with a 50MP wide-angle camera that also acts as a macro lens and 2MP depth unit. On the front, there is a 32MP snapper for selfies and video calls.

Talking about the video recording capability of the device, the rear camera is capable of recording videos up to 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60fps, and the front camera is capable of recording videos up to 1080p@30 fps.

Performance & Storage

Honor 70 powered by the Snapdragon 778G+ chipset based on a 6nm manufacturing process. The chipset features an octa-core CPU with maximum clock speed of 2.5 GHz core. Similarly, the Adreno 642L GPU handles the graphics.

As for memory, The phone is available up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Furthermore, On the software front, it boots on Magic UI 6.0 based on Android 12.

Honor 70 packs a 4800mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging.
