Itel has unveiled two new smartphones of its A58 series in various markets including Nigeria and Kenya. Both models have very similar specifications and differ only in terms of RAM and storage capacity. The entry-level smartphone series features a 4,000 mAh battery, i-Boost 1.0 for smooth operation, and AI-powered dual rear cameras. However pricing details are yet to be known So, let's know about its specifications and features in detail.

 

Itel A58 and A58 Pro

Overview

Both Itel A58 and A58 Pro flaunts a same 6.6inch HD+ waterdrop-style display with 90 percent screen-to-body ratio along with resolution of 720x1,560 pixels. As for optics, the series has a dual-camera at the rear, form which 5MP is primary sensor and the secondary camera is an QVGA sensor. For selfies and video calls, the phones has 5-megapixel cameras at the front.

Design wise, The both smartphones has pearl shell design with dazzling texture and 2.5D curved edge at the back, Beside that, Both smartphones are available in three different color options: Dreamy Purple, Sky Cyan, and Starry Black.

The Itel A58 series is powered by a quad-core Unisoc SC7731E SoC and comes with the i-boost 1.0 feature for smoother mobile experience. For storage, Itel A58 has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, while the pro model has 2GB of RAM and 32GB storage. Also, You can also expand the storage via microSD card slots in both smartphones.

The both smartphones packs a 4,000mAh battery and runs on Android 11. Sadly, the Itel has not mention that, the about of charger. It's has also a fingerprint scanner at the back. According to the Itel that the phones are resistant to ordinary drops, dust, and moisture.

However, there is no pricing information on the Itel website, TechCity reports says that the Itel A58 is available for purchase in Nigeria at a price of NGN 35,000 (approximately Rs.1000). According to Mobile Trends, the smartphone is priced at KES 8,999 in Kenya. The cost of the Itel A58 Pro is unknown.
