Xioami 11i Hypercharge launched with With Dimensity 920 Chipset and 120W Fast Charging

Xiaomi has finally launched the  new Xiaomi 11i series in India. The series incorporates the Xiaomi 11i and the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge. Both the gadgets have quite similar specification except for the battery capacity and charging speed. So, Let’s look at the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge in more detail, including its specs, features, availability and it's expected price in Nepal.

Overview

Note that the, the Xiaomi 11i and 11i Hypercharge known by the name Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus in China, respectively.

Display & Design

The Xioami both 11i and Xioami 11i Hypercharge has features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080) and 20:9 aspect ratio. The display has support for a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The panel has a peak brightness of 1200 nits and boasts 395 PPI of pixel density. The device is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and glass back. Furthermore, 11i and 11i Hypercharge has same centre-aligned punch-hole cutout design that housing a selfie camera.

At the back, borh 11i and 11i Hypercharge features a feature a boxy design and a rectangular camera cutout that houses a triple  camera setup with a LED flash.  It has also IP53 certified for dust and splash protection and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometrics. Moreover, The both phone is available in four different color options Camo Green, Stealth Black, Purple Mist and Pacific Pearl.

Camera

As for the optics, The both 11i and 11i Hypercharge features a same triple camera setup at the back led by a 108MP Primary camera with an aperture of f/1.9. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide snapper with an aperture of f/2.2 and a 120-degree field of view. Completing the setup is a 2MP macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. Similarly, Up front there has an 16MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.5 which is confined inside the centre-aligned punch hole.

Now, as for the videography of the device, At Rear Camera, It is capable of recording videos up to 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps and 720p@960fps. The front camera records up to 1080p@30fps.

Performance & Storage

Moving on, The both 11i and 11i Hypercharge packs a MediaTek’s Dimensity 920 5G chipset, which is based on 6nm process technology. This Octa-core chipset features with two Cortex-A78 clocked at 2.5GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. For graphics handling here we get Mali-G68 MC4 GPU.

As for memory, The both device comes with 6/8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 based internal storage. Further, This both device runs on Android 11 based on MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition.

As previously mentioned, Xioami 11i and 11i Hypercharge main differentiating factor is battery and Charging. Xioami 11i has pack a 5,160mAh battery that support 67W fast charging inside the box. The company mention that the 67W charging charge the phone 0 to 50% in just 13 minutes. While Xioami 11i Hypercharge has pack a 4,500mAh battery but that support 120W fast charging inside the box. The company mention that the 67W charging charge the phone 0 to 100% in just 15 minutes.

All the more significantly, Xiaomi guarantees that the Hypercharge variation's battery would hold 80% of its wellbeing even after 800 charging cycles.
