After the secret announcement of its newest phone last month, Infinix is "officially" announcing its latest. The Infinix Zero 5G 2023 debuted as the world's first Dimensity 1080-chipset powered smartphone. However, the company did not confirm the price or availability of the device at that time. The Hong Kong-based company has now confirmed the price of the Infinix Zero 5G 2023.
The Infinix Zero 5G 2023 features a punch-hole 6.78-inch IPS LCD panel. It has a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The user can choose between three modes: 60Hz, 120Hz, and Auto-Smart Switch Refresh Rate, which will (presumably) alternate between 60Hz and 120Hz while viewing and swiping on the screen. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The rear camera setup of the Zero 5G 2023 includes a 50-megapixel primary camera. It comes with a 2-megapixel macro module, a 2-megapixel depth sensor camera, and a quad-LED flash. Super Night Mode, Night Filter, 960s slow-motion video shooting, Sky Remap editing, and more are among the photography features available on the Zero 5G 2023.
Under the hood, The Zero 5G 2023 is powered by a Dimensity 1080 SoC, 8 GB of RAM, up to 5 GB of extended RAM, and 256 GB of internal storage. It runs the XOS 12 flavored Android 13 operating system. The phone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It has a fingerprint scanner on the side for added security.
The phone will be available in three colors: Pearly White, Coral Orange, and Submarine Black. Infinix mentions a retail price of around $239, but adds that the price "will vary depending on region."
