Design changes are highlighted in leaked Motorola Moto X40 Pro renders

Last month, the Moto X40 Pro was listed on TENAA with full specifications and some some low-low-quality images. OnLeaks revealed the phone's design in greater detail today in a 360-degree video, giving us a better look at the curved sides of the screen and the triple camera island on the back.


The Moto X40 Pro has been seen with a square camera island, but the lenses and LED flash are arranged differently than on previous Moto X/Edge series. According to the report, the phone will be 161.3 x 73.9 x 8.6mm in size (10.8mm thick with the camera module). The Motorola Edge 30 Pro had a plastic frame, but the Motorola X40 Pro could have a metal chassis.



According to reports,  Moto X40 Pro leaks also confirm that the phone’s Specifications is likely to sport a 6.67-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. It will support a 165Hz refresh rate and is expected to be HDR10+ certified.


According to rumors, the rear camera setup will include a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a new 12MP telephoto camera. A 60MP front camera sensor will be available for selfies.


Under the hood, The new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC will power the device. According to AnTuTu, the phone outperformed the Dimensity 9200 SoC's score. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered Edge 40 Pro received a score of 1312901, while the Dimensity 9200 SoC received a score of 1266101.


Motorola is expected to release the phone with up to 12GB of RAM. The base model model will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. on the other hand,  the 12GB RAM option could include 256GB of internal storage.


The handset is likely to boot Android 13 OS out of the box and pack a 5000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support but the global version might come with 125W fast charging. Lastly, it will boot Android 13-based MyUX 4.0 out of the box.


Furthermore, The company is yet to mention anything about a launch date.
